Senior Full-Stack Engineer

Engineering · Addis Ababa or remote · Full-time

Help build the applications and systems behind our products and client services, from the data model to the production interface.

What you will do

  • Build and ship features across Next.js, React, TypeScript, Node.js, and PostgreSQL.
  • Design data models and APIs that hold up beyond the first release.
  • Work directly with product and client workflows, and debug what happens in production.
  • Improve shared patterns, review code, and keep the codebase understandable.

What we look for

  • Professional software engineering experience, including production React and TypeScript work.
  • Strong relational data modelling and API design.
  • Experience taking a feature from problem definition to deployment.
  • Clear communication about tradeoffs, risks, and unfinished work.

Nice to have

Fintech, multi-tenant SaaS, or operational software experience. · AI integration, background jobs, or infrastructure experience. · Design-system or front-end architecture experience.

AI Engineer

AI · Addis Ababa or remote · Full-time

Build AI features that work in production, not just in a demo: retrieval, tool use, evaluation, and workflow integration.

What you will do

  • Design and ship LLM-powered features across our products and client systems.
  • Build retrieval, tool use, evaluation, guardrails, and human review paths.
  • Measure quality, latency, reliability, and cost, then make practical tradeoffs.
  • Work with product and design to identify use cases worth building.

What we look for

  • Production experience with Python and/or TypeScript.
  • Hands-on experience with LLM APIs, prompting, retrieval, and evaluation.
  • A clear understanding of data privacy, failure modes, and human oversight.
  • Strong written communication and the ability to explain model behaviour.

Nice to have

Experience with vector databases, agent frameworks, or local models. · Evaluation tooling, observability, or fine-tuning experience. · Industry experience in fintech, agriculture, or enterprise operations.

Product Designer

Design · Addis Ababa or remote · Contract or full-time

Design clear product interfaces for complex workflows, from early structure to production-ready UI.

What you will do

  • Turn operational workflows into understandable product flows.
  • Design responsive interfaces and reusable patterns alongside engineers.
  • Prototype, test, and refine decisions with users and constraints.
  • Maintain visual and interaction consistency across products.

What we look for

  • A portfolio of shipped product work, not only concept screens.
  • Strong UX judgement for data-heavy or operational software.
  • Figma and design-system experience, with comfort working inside code constraints.
  • Clear communication and the ability to defend a decision without defending a mockup.

Nice to have

AI product design, fintech, agriculture, or accessibility experience. · Front-end familiarity with HTML, CSS, and React. · Experience building or maintaining a component system.
